Don't worry, we're definitely still in "COMING SOON!" mode, but I just needed somewhere to store the link to this video as to be able to reference at any later point in my life. So, all you imaginary readers, enjoy some beautiful Byrne - the true Renaissance Man of our time - discuss the connections between music, architecture, and creative impulse.

Ok, I'm back to not actually blogging anymore now...

Testing, 1, 2, 3...

You know how every now and then you pass by some run down strip mall full of post-recession vacancies? And you know how, after awhile, you become entirely immune to the sight of this festering big-box eye sore that has needlessly infected the landscape? Well then you probably also know about the skeptical curiosity that is often experienced by passers-by upon the sudden appearance of a "COMING SOON!" sign pasted upon the "wash me" windows.

Consider this my "COMING SOON!" sign, ripe with ill-fated optimism. However, instead of some cheap Tijuana Joe's franchise or trendy new yogurt spa, this space in particular has been designated for the charitable distribution of my random ramblings and recommendations.

But for the moment, of course, it remains full of the dust of empty promises while the inexperienced new owner contemplates whether or not this is really gonna be worth the effort...
